Support of Guru or Teacher is really important in any field of work. For me it was my Mother first, who started teaching Rabindra Sangeet, Atul Prasader Gaan, Rajanikanter Gaan, Dwizendra Geeti, Puratani, etc. at home during my childhood days and also later on. But once I got into Rabindra Bharati University, it was my privilege to have Sri. Agnibha Bandopadhyay as my mentor. Agnibha Sir was also my guide when I did my PH. D. based on the topic, 'Rabindranather Nritya O Geetinatye Natyarash Nirmane Kirtaner Bhumika', in 2012. I am attached with his musical activities for the last 20 years or so. I am blessed to have both of their guidance, all the time.
